Illness is the night-side of life, a more onerous citizenship. Everyone who is born holds dual citizenship, in the kingdom of the well and in the kingdom of the sick.
One does not ask of one who suffers: What is your country and what is your religion? One merely says: You suffer, that is enough for me.
