Morality binds and blinds. It binds us into ideological teams that fight each other as though the fate of the world depended on our side winning each battle. It blinds us to the fact that each team is composed of good people who have something important to say.
The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum.
The world must be set in order. The time has come when ethics must be dealt with by science, and never again by mere opinion.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.
