子贡问曰：“孔文子何以谓之‘文’也？”子曰：“敏而好学，不耻下问，是以谓之‘文’也。”
子贡问：“孔文子凭什么获得‘文’的称号？”孔子说：“灵敏又好学，向比自己学问差的人请教时，不觉得没面子，所以称为‘文’。”
