子曰:“见贤思齐焉,见不贤而自省也。”
【译文】 孔子说:“见到贤人,要向他看齐;见到不贤,要反省自己。”
Words are traps, we step into them without knowing.
Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line.
The obligation of subjects to the sovereign is understood to last as long, and no longer, than the power lasteth by which he is able to protect them.
