诸位到书院为何，哪里仅仅限于是搞学问和写文章，具有一种技艺与特长，便可算得上是读书成才之人；我对所追求的也不过分计较，不过就是为子为臣为弟为友，尽到五种人伦的职责，共同成为恪守礼教的正人君子。

我只和自己竞争，不和别人竞争。

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
