I don't think you can ever do your best. Doing your best is a process of trying to do your best.

History is not the past. It is the method we have evolved of organizing our ignorance of the past.

You need to invent things and you need to get them to people. You need to commercialize those inventions. Obviously, the best way we’ve come up with doing that is through companies.
