译文：读书不管天资高低，只要能不耻下问，勤学苦练，对事事都思考为什么，自然就会有通晓人生道理的那一天。立身处世，不要妄自菲薄，不要嫌弃家世的贫贱，只要能忠厚老成，举止行为不违背道义准则，不做苟且之事，就一定成为乡里人人敬仰的人。赏析：人的天资愚钝不可怕，只要肯下苦功夫，用心领悟，那么终将有一天会明白书中的真理。出身寒微不是耻辱，能屈能伸方为大丈夫。人生在世，要时刻谨记古人流传下来的礼义廉耻，做一个受人敬重的人。

贫困不在于拥有的少，而在于贪得无厌。
