Happiness is the very nature of the self; happiness and the self are not different. There is no happiness in any object of the world. We imagine through our ignorance that we derive happiness from objects.
The way in which men produce their means of subsistence depends first of all on the nature of the actual means they find in existence and have to reproduce.
The world is full of people who will tell you what you can't do. You don't need them. You already know what you can't do. What you need is someone to tell you what you can.
