品味
The worst enemy of literature is good taste.
Art belongs to everybody and nobody. Art belongs to all time and no time. Art belongs to those who create it and those who savor it. Art no more belongs to the people or the time than it belongs to the critics or the collectors.
Joy sparks the urge to play, interest sparks the urge to explore, contentment sparks the urge to savor and integrate, and love sparks a recurring cycle of each of these urges within safe, close relationships.
The best art is always on the edge of taste.
Taste is just a form of snobbery.
Art is not about good taste, it's about truth.
I don't believe in good taste. I believe in being honest.
We are communal histories, communal books. We are not owned or monogamous in our taste or experience.
