I not only came to understand that 'change' was a part of Josie, and that I should be prepared to adapt to it, but I also began to realize that this was not a trait unique to Josie; I came to understand that people often feel the need to present a carefully prepared version of themselves to the outside world - much like arranging a shop window - and once the moment has passed, there's no need to take it too much to heart.
