非人而有之，非人而无之，则非墨也，则无以是人矣。
不是别人而去拥有，不是人却没有它，那就不是墨了。所以不能凭个人喜好行事的人，他说的话你可以接受，但是也可以反驳。这就叫“非人而有之”；如果自己都接受了别人的意见，那就是不合情也不合理。一个团体里都需要有共同意愿的人。如果大家都要这样去做决策的话，那就没有了。大家各为其主而行又互相矛盾，这个时候我们就没有办法去正确进行判断和选择了！这句话反映出在处理问题时要坚持从整体出发的原则。而每个人要根据自己的实际情况考虑下问题，这样才能保证社会、国家正常运转和发展。所以我们对待事物要秉持客观冷静的态度；也正如孔子所说：“己所不欲勿施于人！”做人呢？一定是要以对方为重为本的！无论你做什么事情也好，做什么都不能违背内心去强求。这个世界上没有无缘无故的爱也没有无缘无故的恨。只有对得起自己才有可能得到幸福！
