Happiness is not about getting what you want all the time. It’s about loving what you have and being grateful for it.

Life is a slope.As long as you're going up you're always looking towards the top and you feel happy, but when you reach it, suddenly you can see the road going downhill and death at the end of it all. It's slow going up and quick going down.

As to the gods, I have no means of knowing either that they exist or that they do not exist. For many are the obstacles that impede knowledge, both the obscurity of the question and the shortness of human life.

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.

The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
