喜欢说话而又不恰当，不如少说话为好。博学多识但不知道反省自己，一定会出问题。孔子说“言寡尤，行寡悔，禄在其中矣” ，言语上减少过失，行为上减少悔恨，多反省自己，慎言慎行，成功就不会远了。

【译文】 子游问孝，孔子说：“现在的孝顺，只是能赡养老人。即使是犬马，都会得到饲养。不敬重，有何区别？”
