言则称于汤文，行则譬于狗豨。
言：言谈。称：称扬。汤文：汤，成汤，商朝的建立者；文，周文王姬昌，商末周族领袖。行；行为。譬：比如。豨：猪。这两句大意是：言谈必称扬商汤周文，行为则比如猪狗一般。这两句以言美行恶的反差对比，十分典型地概括出那类言行不一的人的低下品格，可用以形容说的一套，做的又是一套的虚伪可耻的两面派人物。此处还有一个成语：行同狗豨，意思是人的行为丑恶，如同猪狗一样，形容人的行为卑鄙恶劣到了极点。
